The FCX18 chassis uses metal beams, metal tie rods (6pcs), metal steering tie rods and metal steering links to maintain high stability in extreme environments. Its power system is mid-mounted, with a low center of gravity. The FCX18 comes with a straight axle by default, but it can also be replaced with a planetary gear differential, with high-viscosity silicone oil, to simulate the driving effect of an LSD limited slip differential. After installing the differential, the extreme climbing ability will be reduced, but it can achieve a smaller turning radius and more stable high-speed driving quality. It has a two-speed shifting function, which is operated by a 9G servo. The low-speed gear offers strong torque, enabling steep climbing. The high-speed gear is great for racing on flat ground.
